My hopes and aspirations for 2020

2020 is in full swing already, and I thought it pertinent to follow up my 31 Dec post regarding #MyFirstTransYear with my hopes and aspirations for 2020.

A lot has already happened in 2020, and we are still in January, which makes me feel good about my path.

#MySecondTransYear started with expanding the circle of people who KNOW about me. Although I was already OUT at work, it was only with people I closely work with. Last week, after consulting with HR, we sent a mail to the entire company (all branches), making it official. So now everyone knows, and the outpouring of support has been so uplifting.

#MySecondTransYear also resolved the bathroom situation, and HR had a pre-emptive chat with all the women, and again, FULL support for me using the women’s bathrooms. I haven’t yet … too scared, but at least I know I can if I wanted to.

#MySecondTransYear, and more recent, I am wearing an actual skirt today. I mean yes ok, I have been dressing more femme, but the ONE time I tried a dress to work, anxiety and panic overwhelmed me and I quickly changed back into pants after my first meeting. TODAY I dont have that option. I didnt bring pants as a safety net. Anxiety and panic still hit me hard, but im still here, still breathing, and moving forward. Let this please be the first of many. ARE YOU LISTENING, BRAIN?! lol.

#MySecondTransYear I also hope to start HRT. The delay was by choice. And still is. But somewhere in 2020, I’d like to get this going.

#MySecondTransYear I need to lose weight seriously. Before I start HRT. I am a lazy shit, and need to work on this.

That’s it … more than enough goals for 1 year. Tell me in the comments what your goals are. Even better, how can I help you achieve them? I love getting involved.
