Self Care

#jewlzstories
.
Feeling judged? Maybe even judging yourself a bit? Too much brow ridge, too little chest, too small ass, too much stomach. And the list goes on. We tell ourselves this is how OTHER people are judging us. But for the most part it’s just us. We do the judging. And we can’t stop ourselves from doing it either.
.
Raising my hand quite high … I’m guilty of this. I judge myself worse than anyone else ever could. Why? Coz I tell myself if I can judge myself first, then anything anyone else says won’t hurt as much. WHAT A LOAD OF BULLSHIT THOUGH.
.
And yet I still do it. I know my failing … and I carry on. It has become less though. Slowly. As I build my confidence in my clothing choices. As I venture out more as myself. I slowly start seeing myself for who I really am. And it’s not so negative. I actually feel sexy, even though I’m overweight. I feel gorgeous, although I’m built like a house. It is possible to create positive thoughts regardless what your situation is. But it takes work. Hard mental work. You have to break your own cycle. FIND AT LEAST ONE THING TO COMPLIMENT YOURSELF ON EVERY DAY.
.
The rest will start to fall in place.
